We're Moving!

We are so excited to announce now that Gerald Peters Goldmine is soon becoming Gerald Peters. We are moving to another location in the Staten Island Mall that is triple the size of our current location, we will carry double the number of brands, and will be the same caring family that has been helping shape your jewelry purchasing experience since 1982. Thanks to you, we are no longer just a "goldmine." We now offer so much more than that. We are proud to offer Staten Island the most exclusive and luxurious collection of jewelry designer brands.

Goldmine was opened before I was born. Sometimes people come into our store now and tell me about the great experiences they had at our first location in Brooklyn and I can't help but smile. This store -this entity that has helped shape so many important moments in peoples' lives -whether it be engagements, weddings, christenings, anniversaries, birthdays- is something my father started before I was born, and my younger brother Peter and I have now taken on. It's a surreal feeling.

My father opened Goldmine in 1982 as a single showcase of children's charms in Caesar's Bay Bazaar. Then, in 1992, after my brother and I were born, Goldmine grew into a freestanding store. My father always knew he wanted a family business, so he added our names, Gerald and Peter, to the store name. As we grew, so did Gerald Peters Goldmine.

In 1996, Gerald Peters Goldmine had grown more than we could have hoped for in such a short time, so we moved to our current location in the Staten Island Mall and opened our services to so many of our loyal customers today. After over 30 years in this business, what started as a single showcase evolved into something my father only dreamed of in 1982. Back then, he never expected that his store would be voted Staten Island's Readers' Choice for Best Jewelry Store 32 years later.

As the first Goldmine evolved to Gerald Peters Goldmine in Brooklyn, and Gerald Peters Goldmine in Brooklyn evolved to Gerald Peters Goldmine in the Staten Island Mall, I, along with my brother, Peter, are so excited to help our father further his original dream of having a jewelry store unlike any other on Staten Island.

Gerald Peters Goldmine is evolving again, thanks to our loyal customers.

Our mission is to provide you with the highest quality and craftsmanship of fine jewelry, and to listen to your needs to provide everything you've ever wanted from a jewelry store. We hope we have successfully done that throughout the years. As you've helped us surpass our expectations, as a thank you, we hope this new endeavor will surpass your expectations of us.

This new store, we promise, will be unlike anything you have ever experienced in a jewelry store. When you walk into Gerald Peters, you are not simply buying a product, but you are gaining a whole experience.
